Correct Lifting Technique

I can’t do  (name the exercise here), because they hurt my (insert body part here)…

Have you ever tweaked your back or shoulder doing weight training? Or do you find that you plateau with certain exercises? Or do certain exercises hurt when you do them?

Programming is a complex beast, if you progress too quickly with poor form, you will plateau quickly and/or increase your risk of injury.  The end result is that you don’t reach your training goals. 

Developing correct technique for your lifting is critical to your progress and to progressing injury free. Apart from some genetic structures (for example, the Celtic hip structure, which will limit your ability to squat) or the limitations imposed by some surgeries, your body should be capable of performing pretty much any exercise over time.
