Why do you need to do strength training? Strength training done in a progressive manner will help you to stabilize your joints, strengthen your core, increase bone density and keep you younger! For you athletes, strength training will increase your athletic potential regardless of your sport. For the ‘average’ person, strength training will help you to maintain greater muscle mass, which helps with maintaining and increasing metabolism. For you older folk, research has indicated that age related loss of muscle mass is one of the major contributing factors to falls in our older years. Strength training will help to prevent this happening to you. I help you to use your body to get strong; then we progress to kettlebells and bar-bells to assist in the process.
