Stroke

A stroke is debilitating condition. However, there is hope…

Have you or a loved one suffered a stroke? The effects of a stroke are varied and individual. Some of the common effects are difficulties with balance and walking; difficulties with coordination and fine motor skills; increased reliance on others to perform activities of daily living.  When treating my stroke patients, I use a system of gentle movements to stimulate the nervous system. This results in increased balance and walking capacity over time. Initially, the movements are performed in a seated or a lying position. After a series of gradual progressions  you will be able to do the exercises in a standing position.
